Designed as a large-volume pre-mixed that's bursting full of tastes associated with festive period, making it excellent for your festive gathering. Save the extra cordial for breakfast cocktails, sweets, or to make another batch of the drink.
The Bikini Cocktail
Makes enough for 10 servings
For the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (makes 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
To prepare the Syrup: Place the listed ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, stirring to dissolve. After that, remove from the burner and let it to cool fully. Decant to a sealable bottle, close it and store chilled, it will last for around one month.
For the Premix: Combine every spirits and syrup in a large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using muslin, making it perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your batch mix into your mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate carefully for about 60 seconds until cold. Filter to a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, decorate with a few cranberries and complete it using a light spray of the essential oil above the glass.
